Job Description

The Lead of Product Education & Market Insights serves as the educational hub across Revelyst Golf Technology, ensuring employees, customers, dealers, distributors, and strategic partners have a clear understanding of the company's products, technology, customer needs, use cases, and competitive positioning. Reporting through the Marketing organization, this role leads the development and delivery of product education programs while translating customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable knowledge that helps teams make informed decisions.

This position serves as a cross-functional subject-matter expert, partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, HR, and Leadership to improve product understanding, strengthen market awareness, and ensure the voice of the customer is represented throughout the business. While the role contributes to customer and market perspectives that inform product strategy, ownership of product roadmap and prioritization decisions remains elsewhere.

This position reports to VP, Marketing & Development.

As a Lead of Product Education & Market Insights you will have the opportunity to:

1. Product Education & Enablement

Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive product education strategy for employees, customers, dealers, distributors, and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage structured, role-based product education programs across the organization.

  • Develop onboarding pathways that provide employees with a foundational understanding of products, customers, personas, market position, and competitive landscape.

  • Partner with HR to incorporate product education into the employee onboarding experience.

  • Create and maintain product demonstrations, training workshops, product walkthroughs, and education materials.

  • Deliver product education for internal teams and support external dealer and partner training efforts in coordination with Sales leadership.

  • Develop reusable learning resources, guides, knowledge libraries, certification pathways, and self-paced training materials.

  • Ensure educational content remains current as products, software features, customer needs, and market dynamics evolve.

  • Facilitate hands-on product experiences that help employees and partners understand products from the customer's perspective.

  • Serve as the organization's primary resource for product knowledge and education.

2. Market, Customer & Competitive Intelligence

Own the process for capturing, organizing, validating, and communicating customer, market, and competitive insights that improve decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Gather intelligence from customer interactions, dealer feedback, partner conversations, industry events, advisors, sales activities, online communities, and competitive research.

  • Establish scalable processes for documenting and sharing insight gained through existing customer-facing activities.

  • Identify trends, recurring themes, competitive threats, and market opportunities.

  • Distinguish verified information from anecdotal feedback and provide meaningful interpretation of findings.

  • Maintain a centralized competitive intelligence resource covering products, pricing, packaging, capabilities, and customer experience.

  • Deliver concise recommendations that help teams understand why opportunities are won or lost and where Foresight can strengthen its market position.

  • Use intelligence gathered from the market to inform internal education priorities and content development.

3. Product Subject-Matter Expertise & Content Guidance

Serve as a trusted product expert who helps shape how products are explained to employees, customers, partners, and the broader market.

Responsibilities

  • Identify educational topics based on customer questions, market trends, and intelligence gathered through the business.

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure product education content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with customer needs.

  • Provide technical and product expertise for onboarding content, customer education, training programs, support resources, website content, and sales enablement materials.

  • Serve as an on-camera product expert and thought leader when appropriate.

  • Help define educational content priorities based on customer, dealer, and market feedback.

4. Product Strategy Support

Provide the customer, golfer, partner, and market perspective within product discussions while maintaining firsthand product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in product reviews, evaluations, and cross-functional discussions to remain current on product capabilities and future development.

  • Represent customer needs, use cases, and market insights within product conversations.

  • Evaluate proposed features, enhancements, and experiences through the lens of customer value and competitive differentiation.

  • Provide evidence-based recommendations and identify areas that may warrant additional research, investment, or customer validation.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Communications, Product Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience designing and delivering product education, enablement, training, or learning programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and communicate market, customer, and competitive insights.

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging learning experiences.

  • Proven success working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Experience supporting Product, Sales, Marketing, and customer-facing teams.

  • Golf industry, sports technology, consumer technology, or related industry experience preferred.
