Job Description

Hiring "Retail Actors" to partake in a user research study throughout Pittsburgh.

Study runs from week of 10/12 to 11/20. Day shifts (times will vary), Shift durations: 8 hours (some might be closer to 11) Full Time: 5 shifts per week

*The shift times, locations, and days of the week will vary depending on when we are able to book these retail spaces.

*Locations will vary, must be comfortable traveling to 1 site per day (parking/mileage are reimbersed)

Consent Forms Required - You must be comfortable signing a consent form to be filmed and recorded. Your voice, face, motions, and bodies will be captured during the protocol. You will need to sign a consent form allowing the captured data to be used in the client’s product & service development, and prototyping.

Responsibilities: You will be hired to create authentic customer experiences. Participants will "act" as customers in retail locations and venues such as grocery stores, museums etc. Sessions will be filmed for research and product development purposes.

• Comfortable being filmed and recorded; must sign a consent form
• Able to commute daily to different locations, 1 per day
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle to commute to worksite
• Willing to assist with camera set up tasks Plusses: user studies or user research study experience

User Research project experience (ex: UX research assistants, coordinators, moderators, interns etc).
