Role Summary
The Data Collection Lead is the senior Insight Global resource onsite. This role collects data alongside the team while owning quality, daily coordination, and the working relationship with CF site personnel. Because there is no Insight Global project manager onsite during the pilot, the Lead is the single point of contact for the team.
What This Role Owns
Collect field data for approximately half of the working time
Validate every record on site for completeness and accuracy before the crew leaves an area — no return trips for missing data
Plan the daily collection route with Maintenance Superintendent to avoid interference with operations
Own onsite safety compliance for the Insight Global team: onboarding, PPE, escort requirements, and incident escalation
Coordinate terminal access, work windows, and escort needs with CF
Serve as the day-to-day interface to the Maintenance Superintendent and SAP Analyst
Confirm the SAP data format and mandatory fields with the SAP Analyst before collection begins
Skills and Requirements
5+ years in maintenance, reliability, or asset data management in an asset-intensive environment TWIC Card Hands-on experience with asset master data, equipment hierarchies, or BOMs in an EAM, CMMS, or ERP system
Demonstrated experience leading a small field team Prior field data collection or asset inventory lead experience Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation components
Able to work onsite in an active industrial facility under strict safety protocols Working Knowledge of SAP Terminal, fertilizer, chemical, or refining experience
