Full job description

Summary:

The MOFE (Manufactured Owner Furnished Equipment) Integration team within Meta's Data Center Design, Engineering & Construction (DEC) organization is responsible for the technical development, manufacturing readiness, and deployment strategy of offsite manufactured components that power Meta's global data center portfolio. The rapid acceleration of AI demand requires data center capacity at a scale and speed that traditional construction methods cannot deliver. This team is responsible for transforming the organization — and the broader industry — into an industrialized construction organization, standardizing components into vendor-agnostic SKUs, enabling repeatable deployment across a growing portfolio of sites, and building durable processes that enable contract manufacturing at scale. From concept design through construction execution, this team directly influences the full product lifecycle, embedding innovation such as modular infrastructure deployment initiatives and ensuring Meta can build the infrastructure required to support the growing demands of AI infrastructure. The MOFE Deployment Strategy Lead is focused on the product and manufacturing process from factory floor through site delivery. This role leads production planning, manufacturing coordination, and real-time data transparency across integrator partners, managing the cadence from factory floor to site delivery that keeps the program moving.

Required Skills:

MOFE Deployment Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 3 Integrators, ensuring their success by proactively coordinating all necessary support from Meta — including ensuring access to all MOFE component design packages and modular deployment program related documents, collaborating with sourcing Organization (the sourcing organization) to guarantee on-time delivery of integrated OFE, and partnering with Pre-Construction to ensure prompt contract execution and fund release

  2. Facilitate effective collaboration among the Integrator, GC, Meta site and Quality team, EoR, Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) suppliers, and third-party quality inspectors to ensure timely and complete delivery of all site components

  3. Ensure MOFE component continuity across integrator and manufacturing partners — maintaining alignment on specifications, production status, and delivery commitments throughout the component lifecycle while managing the implementation of all inflight design changes to the integrator

  4. Lead MOFE production planning and execution — including manufacturing facility throughput coordination, production scheduling, OFE gear receipt and storage approach, build to inventory strategy, First Article Production (FAP) and Off-site Commissioning and real-time management of the manufacturing process from order through delivery

  5. Synchronize integrator production schedules with business PR objectives, site readiness, and on-site deployment timelines

  6. Develop and manage the GC ↔ Integrator scope delineation matrix, handover protocols, and site-level coordination cadences

  7. Partner with the Integrator to develop comprehensive logistics plans that guarantee on-time safe component delivery, seamless on-site installation and commissioning, and proactive risk mitigation in response to supply and demand fluctuations

  8. Review, evaluate, and manage change orders submitted by integrators, ensuring compliance with project scope, budget, and objectives

  9. Manage submittal and RFI workflows across Meta, integrators, GCs, and OFE suppliers — ensuring integrator and vendor submissions and RFIs are reviewed, EoR comments provided on time, dispositioned, and tracked against component specifications and site requirements

  10. Negotiate and process external partner contracts and purchase orders as needed to support Tier 3 Integrator manufactured component development

  11. Coordinate DDKO (Design Development Kick-Off) process — including documentation packages, review timelines and scope delineation, and ensure stakeholder alignment

  12. Identify deployment risks, probability, and mitigations for new data center product designs

  13. Develop risk mitigation strategies for new data center product execution through pre-planning, innovative thinking, and partnership with internal and external stakeholders

  14. Coordinate Required On Job (ROJ) dates and production-date changes across site teams, Sourcing, integrators, and OEMs

  15. Establish processes and data standards, including OFE allocation, PO management, component part number tracking, and vendor commit date workflows with procurement data synchronization

  16. Support escalations both from site CM teams and OFE issues from manufacturing to OEM providers in partnership with internal supply chain and equipment teams — driving rapid resolution of supply disruptions and component deficiencies

  17. Support the Pre-Construction team by providing project execution plan, manufacturing schedule, on-site installation plans, staffing requirements, and logistics inputs to optimize project execution and site readiness

  18. Responsible for establishing KPIs and data transparency for off-site manufacturing and on-site modular component installation and commissioning — with key performance indicators including on-time delivery (OTD), component manufacturing quality, and manufacturing data transparency

  19. Leverage AI and automation tools to improve deployment coordination, reduce manual tracking, and drive predictive risk identification

  20. Capture lessons learned and provide feedback to inform future technical development revisions, component solutions to support manufacturing, and performance metrics to support integrator business reviews

  21. Build integrator and new-entrant capability -- educate partners on program standards, takt time execution, and proven means/methods, and drive cross-integrator knowledge transfer (embedment) so the program scales on repeatable capability rather than institutional knowledge

  22. Manage manufacturing and deployment risks in partnership with the integrator — identifying, quantifying, and driving mitigation of risks to on-time, quality delivery, and escalating material risks to program and executive leadership to enable timely decisions

  23. Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support component and manufacturing process issue resolution across engineering, quality, sourcing, and site execution stakeholders

  24. Strengthen collaboration with internal cross-functional partners

  25. promote continuous improvement, partnership, and teamwork

  26. Actively participate in feedback processes, including giving and receiving constructive feedback across teams and levels

  27. Lead Business Review sessions to reset expectations and ensure alignment between Meta business needs and Integrator performance

  28. Travel as required up to 40%
