Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Workday Integration Developer to join its growing ERP team. This individual will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Workday integrations, reporting solutions, and custom applications within the City's enterprise Workday environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Workday professional who enjoys complex integrations, custom development, reporting, and serving as a technical leader within a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Workday integrations. Build integrations utilizing: Workday Studio EIB/DTS Cloud Connect Workday Orchestrate Develop and support Workday reports, dashboards, and Prism Analytics solutions. Create custom applications using Workday Extend. Leverage BIRT for document generation and customized reporting outputs. Develop and maintain integrations utilizing REST and SOAP APIs. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, integration failures, and performance concerns. Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Participate in ERP strategy discussions, application roadmaps, and enterprise initiatives. Perform peer code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Support ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and application optimization efforts. Collaborate with vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications and systems development. Proven experience developing Workday integrations in a production environment. Strong hands-on experience with: Workday Studio EIB/DTS Cloud Connect Workday Orchestrate Experience developing Workday Reports. Experience building Workday Extend applications. Knowledge of Workday APIs and integration protocols including REST and SOAP. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Workday Integration Certification. Workday Extend Certification. Workday Reporting Certification. Experience with Prism Analytics. Experience using BIRT. Experience supporting Workday Financials and/or HCM. Experience with large-scale ERP implementations. Public sector or municipal government experience. Experience mentoring developers or serving as a technical lead.
