Job Family: Electrical Products

Req ID: 525086

Here at Siemens, we take pride in enabling sustainable progress through technology. We do this through empowering customers by combining the real and digital worlds. Improving how we live, work, and move today and for the next generation! We know that the only way a business thrive is if our people are thriving. That’s why we always put our people first. Our global, diverse team would be happy to support you and challenge you to grow in new ways. Who knows where our shared journey will take you?

Transform the everyday with us!

As a Master Scheduler within Siemens Electrical Products (EP), you will help build a more structured and reliable operation for Manual Lines, a developing area supporting non-standard customer orders such as spare parts, warranty needs, retrofit requests, custom components, and configured products. This is an opportunity to create planning processes while owning the connection between customer demand, realistic lead times, SAP execution, production priorities, and delivery performance. You will collaborate closely with Customer Service, Project Management, Engineering, production leaders, and shop-floor teams to bring clarity to variable demand and turn evolving requirements into executable plans. Your judgment, process-improvement mindset, and operational follow-through will help strengthen delivery reliability across the Grand Prairie operation. This position is based onsite at our Grand Prairie, Texas, facility.

You will make an impact by:

  • Reviewing incoming Manual Lines demand, clarifying customer and production requirements, and translating non-standard orders into executable plans with complete information and clear ownership.

  • Establishing realistic lead times by evaluating requested delivery dates, production requirements, capacity constraints, materials, and operational priorities while maintaining credible commitments.

  • Maintaining production schedules and manufacturing dates in SAP, ensuring accurate planning data and timely updates that reflect actual shop-floor conditions.

  • Coordinating with Customer Service, Project Management, Engineering, production leadership, and assembly teams to align priorities, communicate changes, and protect delivery reliability.

  • Monitoring schedule adherence, following up directly with the dedicated floor team, identifying at-risk orders, and driving issues through resolution before commitments are missed.

  • Developing practical processes for demand intake, order prioritization, scheduling, status communication, risk escalation, and performance tracking as the Manual Lines operation matures.

  • Analyzing delivery reliability, loading status, capacity utilization, and schedule performance using Microsoft Excel, Access, SAP, and other planning tools to identify improvement opportunities and support informed decisions.

You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline.

  • Possess at least 2 years of professional experience in an engineering, manufacturing, production, materials, or operational environment as a Production Scheduler, Master Scheduler, Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Buyer/Planner, or in a comparable role.

  • Demonstrated experience with production scheduling, planning, order coordination, lead-time assessment, or manufacturing execution.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access data analysis.

  • Possess strong mathematical, analytical, logical, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Customer Service, engineering, production, planning, and shop-floor stakeholders.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environments or comparable manufacturing ERP systems, including the maintenance of orders, dates, schedules, and planning data.

  • Successfully improved schedule adherence, on-time delivery, lead-time accuracy, workflow consistency, or another measurable operational outcome.

  • Successfully created, standardized, launched, or stabilized a planning, scheduling, or operational process.

  • Possess experience supporting non-standard, configured, engineered-to-order, project-driven, warranty, retrofit, spare-parts, or other variable customer demand.

  • Possess practical knowledge of Low Voltage electrical distribution equipment, including switchgear, power panels, or switchboards.

  • Demonstrated experience balancing production capacity, engineering workloads, factory loading, or competing customer priorities.

  • Possess experience supporting the implementation of scheduling, manufacturing execution, or other operational software systems.

  • A combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.
