Quality Print Technician

Description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.

Responsibilities:

  • Support print room operations including vinyl and paper printed solutions executing jobs with high quality.

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Tech Pubs for artwork rendering and approval to meet customer expectations.

  • Develop standard operating procedures and work to continuously improve printing processes for efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain a schedule of operations to communicate status and timelines for the rest of the business.

  • Excellence in communication when collaborating with Sales to meet the needs and expectations of customer orders.

  • Responsible for loading and unloading printers, laminators, cutters, along with performing vinyl weeding, transfer tape, and trimming processes using safe handling processes.

  • Utilize printer software to optimize the layout, contours, and process to ensure quality and efficiency of the process.

  • Work with external vendors as required to ensure that all printed and electronic material is prepared and produced on deadline and within budget.

Qualifications

Education: Associates degree required in related field, technical certifications preferred.

Years of Experience: 0-2 years of experience required.

Software Knowledge: Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a self-starter with attention to detail and deadlines as well as ability to multi-task.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects; respect deadlines and excel without supervision.
