We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Estimator to join our team and support customers across a variety of industries. This role combines estimating, and customer interaction to develop cost-effective solutions for unique customer projects. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working with technical drawings, and collaborating with sales, engineering, and project management teams to bring projects from concept to quotation. Location: Tiffin, Ohio Schedule: Office, Generally 4 9's and a 4 on Friday Travel: Limited, occasional customer site visits as needed What You'll Do - Review customer specifications, blueprints, drawings, and project requirements. - Develop accurate cost estimates and quotations for steel platforms, gravity chutes, lockers, and other custom solutions. - Determine material, labor, and manufacturing requirements for proposed projects. - Generate bills of materials and identify cost drivers that impact project pricing. - Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams throughout the project lifecycle. - Create customized solutions using standard SSI products and components. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. - Assist with product improvements and enhancements based on customer feedback and market needs. - Occasional travel to customer locations may be required.
