Job Description

Lead and support software depot activation efforts Ensure systems are established for long-term sustainment and maintenance Develop and maintain logistics, sustainment, and lifecycle support plans Coordinate with engineering, logistics, acquisition, and government teams to resolve support issues Track schedules, milestones, risks, and action items Analyze sustainment requirements and readiness impacts Support acquisition and modernization initiatives from a logistics perspective Prepare reports, briefings, and status updates for leadership Ensure logistics considerations are incorporated throughout the system lifecycle Assist with maintenance planning, supply support, and sustainment strategy development

Skills and Requirements

Active Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree 5+ years of logistics, sustainment, acquisition, or DoD program experience Depot activation experience (most important), preferably supporting software systems Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs (DoDI 5000) Logistics and sustainment planning experience Experience working in a DoD, depot, or weapon system sustainment environment Ability to coordinate across engineering, logistics, program management, and government stakeholders Strong communication, project tracking, and organizational skills Experience supporting lifecycle management of mission-critical systems Understanding of Integrated Product Support (IPS) and sustainment concepts Direct software depot activation experience Experience with all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) background Logistics analyst or product support manager experience Air Force or large DoD program experience NC3 experience Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) experience Lean Six Sigma certification Maintenance, supply chain, or sustainment management background Experience supporting weapon systems, communications systems, or other mission-critical DoD platforms Data analytics or logistics systems experience Former Air Force Logistics Readiness, Maintenance, Acquisition Logistics, or Sustainment background
