Tradesmen International is immediately hiring Skilled Carpenter of all skill levels for projects located in or around Charles City, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Helper Job Scope:

• Assess water-damaged areas and assist with restoration plans

• Perform water extraction and drying processes using specialized equipment

• Clean carpets and surfaces affected by water damage

• Safely use hand tools and power tools for restoration tasks

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

• Ensure equipment is properly maintained

• Document completed work and restoration activities

Apprentice & Journeyman Job Scope:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications

• Measure, cut, shape, and join wood, steel, and other construction materials

• Build rough frameworks, walls, floors, doorframes, and concrete forms

• Install doors, windows, molding, hardware, cabinetry, and other finish components

• Perform framing and finish carpentry work

• Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Helper Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Experience with hand and power tools preferred

• Restoration, construction, or general labor experience is a plus

• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Apprentice & Journeyman Requirements:

• Previous carpentry experience required

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

• Experience with framing, finish carpentry, and general construction

• Must have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
