Maintenance Tech

Description Responsibilities: Maintains cleanliness of shops by taking out trash & sweeping. Maintains good housekeeping practices in shop and work areas. Assists in repairs of many types of equipment throughout all departments of the property. Maintains knowledge of property information and memorabilia. Adheres to department and property policies and procedures. Responds to room calls. Upholds the Mission Statement - We create authentic experiences that rock. Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors. Lives by the Hard Rock Values! Orders materials and keeps inventory stock items organized, manage day to day operations of the equipment repair shop. Competences: Basic to advanced knowledge of electronics and mechanics. Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Maintain flexibility to handle changing priorities. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Strong tactical skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications Education High School (preferred) Experience Five years related experience.
