Staff Accountant

Armoured One LLC in Syracuse is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. Position Description: This position, under the direction of the Director of Finance, will support day-to-day transactions and month end closing. Responsibilities: * Review and analyze the department budget with the departments * Determination of prevailing wages for accurate certified Payroll * Assist with sales & use tax filings * Accounts Payable reconciliation * Support month end closing as needed * Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance This position is a full time, onsite non-exempt position. Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Remote work is not offered. Skills and Abilities: * Microsoft Office 365 * Google Suite * High level of integrity. * Excellent mathematical skills. * Clear understanding of data privacy standards. * Proficiency in accounting software( Rootstock, QuickBooks, Bill.com ) preferred.
