About the Role
We are looking for our first Field Marketing Lead to build and own this function from the ground up.
In this role, you’ll lead our field marketing strategy, partnering closely with sales, marketing and channel to drive pipeline through hosted events, partner programs, executive dinners, roadshows, and industry conferences.
You’ll manage end-to-end event planning & execution, own the field marketing budget, measure ROI and pipeline impact, and build scalable processes as the function grows.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution and wants to make a direct impact on ORION Security growth.
Why Join Us?
ORION Security is the AI-native cybersecurity startup on a mission to reinvent DLP.
Backed by $38M in funding and trusted by leading enterprise customers such as American Express, Alera Group, LinkedIn, Pennymac, and Coursera, we're building the future of data security that’s ready for AI.
This is an opportunity to join early, take ownership, work alongside exceptional people, and make a meaningful impact as we scale.
What We're Looking For?
-
A builder who enjoys creating processes from scratch.
-
A true owner who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
-
Equally comfortable developing strategy and executing every detail.
-
Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive.
-
No ego. You’ll happily switch between quarterly planning and shipping swag to an event if that’s what’s needed.
-
Passionate about creating programs that generate measurable business impact.
Experience & Professional Background
-
3-5 years of experience in field and / or channel marketing within B2B cybersecurity or SaaS.
-
Experience working with channel partners and building joint marketing programs.
-
Proven experience managing both hosted events and sponsored events from planning through execution and post-event follow up and pipeline progression.
-
Experience owning marketing budgets and measuring pipeline impact.
-
Cybersecurity industry experience is highly preferred.
-
Experience in a Series A or Series B startup is a strong advantage.
Skills
-
Strong understanding of demand generation and pipeline creation.
-
Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity personas and ICPs.
-
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
-
Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and channel teams.
-
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
-
Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
