Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm

Location: Vidor, TX (on-site location)

Duration: Temp-Hire

We’re looking for a temp-hire HR Generalist who is passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being involved in all areas of Human Resources.

In this role, you’ll be a trusted resource for employees and managers while gaining hands-on experience across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, attendance, HR administration, compliance, and employee engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offers, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding.

  • Coordinate new-hire orientation and ensure employment documentation is completed accurately and on time.

  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, attendance, payroll-related questions, and HR procedures.

  • Partner with supervisors and managers on employee relations, attendance concerns, performance documentation, and disciplinary processes.

  • Process employee changes, including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records.

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and benefits-related questions.

  • Support leave administration and required documentation.

  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, employee communications, letters, and other HR documentation.

  • Assist with training, employee engagement initiatives, recruiting events, and special HR projects.

  • Help ensure HR practices and documentation align with company policies and applicable requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to projects that make the employee experience better.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of Human Resources experience.

  • Experience supporting multiple areas of HR, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and HR administration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with employees, supervisors, and management.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.

  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with an HRIS or payroll system preferred.

  • English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus
