Title: Manager, Pricing Strategy & Insights - 125072

Your Responsibilities

As a Manager, Pricing Strategy & Insights for JD Construction & Forestry located in Moline, IL, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of global pricing strategies that drive profitable growth, improve pricing consistency, and strengthen commercial decision-making across products, customer segments, and channels.

  • This role oversees a team of global pricing analysts and is responsible for transforming pricing capabilities through advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights and decision support, and streamlined pricing processes.

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and Dealer Development teams, this leader establishes pricing frameworks, value-based pricing methodologies, discount governance, and pricing playbooks that balance customer value, dealer success, competitiveness, and margin performance.

  • This role develops and deploys simple, segment-aware pricing strategies that enable sustainable growth, improve price realization, and create greater consistency and confidence in pricing decisions across global markets.

  • The role serves as the organization's center of excellence for pricing strategy, pricing intelligence, and pricing process improvement.

What Skills You Need

  • 7 or more years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, finance, analytics, marketing, sales operations, or related fields.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing pricing strategies in a complex commercial environment.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in financial modeling, pricing analysis, and business case development.

  • Experience leading teams in cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with data visualization, BI tools, AI-enabled analytics, and process improvement methodologies.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • MBA or advanced degree.

  • Experience with global pricing programs and dealer/channel-based business models.

  • Knowledge of value-based pricing, segmentation strategy, and pricing governance frameworks.

  • Experience working with field sales teams, dealers, distributors, or channel partners preferred.

  • Familiarity with Construction industry and jobsite solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
