Harvest Room Labor PR08 (Part Time-Day Shift) New Holland Plant

Job Details: Job Description Position: Live Hang Team Member Pay Rate: $22.85/hour

• Perform entry-level general labor duties while following Tyson safety policies and procedures.
• Support Live Hang operations and work in various positions as assigned.
• Receive required job training and cross-training as needed.
• Maintain and promote Tyson’s safety culture.
• Handle work that involves standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Work in a fast-paced environment requiring repetitive motions and physical labor.
• Comply with animal welfare policies and work safely and respectfully around live birds.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.

Requirements

• Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull materials weighing up to 40 lbs. as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work in varying conditions including dusty, hot, humid, cold, damp, and slippery environments.
• Good physical condition and hand dexterity for constant reaching, pushing, and pulling motions.
• Willingness and ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to follow safety procedures and animal welfare standards.
• Willingness to perform various assigned production roles.

Rehire Criteria

• All applicants must provide their government identification number to verify any previous Tyson employment history.

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.

• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
