Responsibilities

  • Transform lives through expert assessment and treatment of communication, cognition, feeding, and swallowing disorders.

  • You’llevaluate patients, develop diagnoses and prognoses, create individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based interventions, and educate patients and caregivers to support meaningful outcomes.

  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation and billing,participatein interdisciplinary care planning, coordinate referrals, and ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, program development, patient safety, and operational excellence.

  • Provide clinical supervision to support staff and students, collaborate across teams, and foster a culture of learning.

  • Stay current with evolving clinical practices, embrace professional growth opportunities, and help develop colleagues while advancing exceptional patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Successful completion of aMaster’sLevel program accredited by the American Speech & Hearing Associations, Applicants in their Clinical Fellowship Year considered.

Experience:

  • One year of clinical experiencerequiredifit’swith UnityPoint at Home.

  • Prior work as an SLP in practice area preferred.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Speech-Language Pathology License in good standing in the state(s) of practice (current or temporary)required.

  • Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (IADHHS)

  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations (IDFPR)

  • Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services

  • Mustpossessand maintain current BLS certification.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)

  • IA Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing carerequired.

  • IA Dependent AdultAbuse Mandatory Training in state(s) where providing carerequired.
