Posting:Special Education Personal Care Provider Location:MULTIPLE SCHOOLS Job Category:School Support Staff Schedule: Salary:$0.00 - $0.00 Licensed Position: NO Full Time: YES CLARKSDALE MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT Special Education Personal Care Provider Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School Diploma or GED. 2. Ability to work with students with disabilities. REPORTS TO: Special Education Director Building Principal Special Education Teacher JOB GOAL: To provide personal assistance to special education students. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Follows direction of the building level principal and classroom teacher. 2. Attends and participates in staff development activities. 3. Follows school and district policy and procedures. 4. Change diapers and/or assist in feeding students. 5. Lifts students into and out of prone standers, wheelchairs, changing standers. 6. Follows schedule(s) of assigned students. 7. Promotes a positive image of the district to the public. 8. Follows daily schedule as outlined by teacher/principal. 9. Works harmoniously with staff and students. 10. Reinforces teacher instruction in developmental areas. 11. Maintains confidentiality related to students with disabilities. 12. Assists in preparing materials. 13. Other duties as assigned by teacher and/or principal related to students in the classroom.
