Full job description

Job Title: Fulfillment TechnicianJob Description

The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in the fulfillment process by picking, labeling, packing, and shipping medication and/or supplies to fill patient orders. This position requires accurately dispensing products as entered by the PCC, as indicated on the delivery ticket and/or prescription labels. Additionally, the technician is responsible for maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking stock and coordinating with the inventory team to ensure necessary supplies and drugs are maintained at required levels. Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized pharmacy stocked with required supplies is also part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, label, pack, and ship medication and/or supplies to fill patient orders.

  • Accurately dispense products as entered by the PCC as indicated on delivery tickets and/or prescription labels.

  • Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock and coordinating with the inventory team.

  • Ensure necessary supplies and drugs are maintained at required par levels.

  • Keep the pharmacy neat, clean, and organized.

  • Stock the pharmacy with required supplies.

Essential Skills

  • Customer service

  • Pharmacy experience

  • Data entry skills

  • Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License or ability to obtain it during onboarding

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification

  • Experience in specialty pharmacy

  • National Technician Certification (preferred)

  • Previous pharmacy experience or experience in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite with training typically lasting around 2 weeks, though it may extend depending on individual progress. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. No weekends or holidays are required. Candidates should be flexible with working additional hours if needed, as the expectation is to complete the workload for the day before ending the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Itasca, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
