Production and Packaging Technician

Buffalo. General Production & Packing Technician. Landies Candies. Full Time. Landies Candies is looking for general production and packing technicians for its varied outstanding chocolate products. The successful candidate will be a part of production team of between 4 and 10 associates that is required to engage in the production and packaging of chocolate-based confectionary products. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, some Saturdays during the busy season. The position requires an individual with several attributes, including: -Standing for extended periods of time -Lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs -Working well with others in a team environment (MUST) -Completing a variety of assembly line tasks as ordered Job duties of a General Product & Packing Technician include: 1. Product management all steps of production is properly made using the quality of food preparation as trained. 2. Molding and demolding including care for the molds themselves. 3. Topping and drizzling preparing the products with the correct ingredients and amounts as ordered. 4. Cleaning and sanitizing all molds, machines, belts and areas need to be cleaned and sanitized after work and between products. 5. Packing, box assembly and finished product palletization 6. Ensuring all packages are correctly sealed and labeled, proper date coding 7. As well as other duties, as assigned by Line Lead or Managers/Supervisors 8. Attention to detail is key!
