Full job description

TITLE: (HSE) High School Equivalency (GED) Instructor Part-time LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES, with initial assignment at Lewis County Extension Center, Lowville, New York SCHEDULE: 18 hours/week, possibly up to 30 hours/week, based on program need. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 3 days per week. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Assess, prescribe and deliver High School Equivalency (HSE) instruction to eligible adult students and prepare them for successful completion of high school equivalency certificate. Enter data related to GED participation. Reports to the Assistant Director for Career & Technical and Adult Education programs. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a current New York State Teaching certificate or Job Skills Training Instructor - Adult Education Certificate.
