Full job description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
-
Operate robotic and automated equipment used to test, inspect, and sort fiber optic filters.
-
Load and unload fiber optic components into automated testing systems.
-
Monitor equipment performance and respond to alarms, errors, and process interruptions.
-
Perform basic troubleshooting of robotic, automated, optical, and test equipment.
-
Verify test results and ensure components are sorted according to established specifications.

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of fiber optic components.
-
Identify defective, damaged, or out-of-specification components.
-
Record and maintain accurate production and test data.
-
Follow work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality requirements.

Experience with robotic pick-and-place systems or automated inspection equipment.
-
Experience with PLC-controlled machinery or automated manufacturing systems.
-
Familiarity with fiber optic test methods and optical measurement equipment.
-
Experience troubleshooting automated production equipment.
-
Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Experience with networked PC based computer systems.

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
