Overview: We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for employees in a fast-paced office environment. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, conference room technology, and connectivity issues while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 desktop and help desk support.

• Support Windows, Mac, Microsoft 365, and end-user devices.

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and device provisioning.

• Support meeting room technology, AV equipment, and collaboration tools.

• Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues.

• Manage and resolve tickets through an IT service management platform.

• Maintain documentation and assist with ongoing IT projects.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience.

• Experience with Windows, Mac, Microsoft 365, and hardware troubleshooting.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Experience with ticketing systems and endpoint support tools preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lisle, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
