*Please note this position requires up to 30% travel.

Position Overview:

Responsible for overseeing and implementing the bank’s event marketing strategy in collaboration with the Events Marketing Manager. This role involves providing guidance and making decisions alongside Integrated Marketing Managers, as well as the Brand & Shared Services Manager, to forecast event needs and ensure all event activities align with strategic priorities. Manage the day-to-day execution of in-person events outlined as part of the overall marketing strategy and continuously test and optimize event formats and processes, and ensure all events are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages strategic review and components of in-person events.

  • Manages logistical aspects of in-person events to include conducting site research and venue recommendations, contract processing with Procurement, managing all event assets, coordinating event layout, F&B selection, and A/V needs.

  • Works in conjunction with Procurement and 3 rd party site selection companies on site research, contract review and approval.

  • Works with local teams to effectively complete delegated tasks and on-site support.

  • Creates and manages all event components needed in Stova (meeting management system).

  • Works with Creative, CRM and Analytics on event branding design, campaign management, and ROI.

  • Develops and refines event messaging, promotion, and marketing channels.

  • Ensures events are completed on time and on budget.

  • Stays current on event trends and make recommendations as appropriate.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Previous Event Management experience required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or CMP Certification (preferred).

  • Excellent organization and time management skills required.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail in addition to basic problem-solving skills required.

  • Ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to manage on-site event management including attendee registration coordination and pre/post event set-up and tear down.

  • Ability to coordinate the transfer of goods needed for in-person events.

  • Ability to travel for off-site events when needed.

  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for event coordination and hosting.
