Job Description

Our team is responsible for delivering marketing communications at scale while driving transformation across people, processes, and platforms. We support a diverse portfolio that includes Salesforce Marketing Cloud execution, governance and controls, self-service marketing capabilities, platform modernization, AI enablement, and strategic insourcing initiatives.

As a Senior Delivery & Transformation Lead on the Marketing Execution team, you will serve as a key leader responsible for bridging strategy and execution. You will oversee operational governance, delivery readiness, platform standards, and transformation initiatives while helping establish scalable operating models that improve execution quality, reduce manual effort, and increase organizational capacity.

You will partner closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, Risk, Controls, and Delivery teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, operational simplification, and automation. You will help drive adoption of emerging capabilities, including AI-enabled workflows and self-service solutions, while ensuring all execution activities remain compliant with governance, audit, and control standards.

Our commitment to delivery excellence focuses on creating repeatable, scalable solutions that allow the organization to support increasing business demand while continuously improving customer experiences, operational efficiency, and speed-to-market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead execution readiness activities across strategic initiatives, ensuring requirements, dependencies, testing, governance reviews, and deployment activities are aligned and tracked through completion.

  • Drive delivery governance processes including intake management, prioritization, capacity planning, risk identification, dependency management, issue escalation, and status reporting.

  • Establish and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud execution standards, reusable frameworks, documentation practices, and platform governance processes that promote consistency and scalability.

  • Partner with builders, marketers, product owners, and technology teams to evaluate technical solutions, optimize delivery approaches, and improve operational efficiency across marketing programs.

  • Lead execution workstreams supporting platform transformation initiatives, including self-service marketing capabilities, insourcing efforts, journey modernization, automation programs, and future marketing technology enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, delivery metrics, and executive reporting that provide visibility into initiative status, resource utilization, risks, dependencies, and organizational health.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation, standardization, reusable solutions, and AI-assisted workflows while maintaining appropriate controls and compliance requirements.

  • Support incident management, root cause analysis, audit preparation, control documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance operational maturity.

  • Mentor and develop execution resources by promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, onboarding standards, and capability development across the organization.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic priorities, operational roadmaps, and scalable execution models that support future business growth.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale marketing operations, delivery, transformation, or program management initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, customer journey orchestration, marketing technology ecosystems, and associated operational processes.

  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving business stakeholders, technology teams, product organizations, and third-party vendors.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish governance frameworks, operational processes, standards, and controls within a complex enterprise environment.

  • Strong project and program management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives, competing priorities, dependencies, and stakeholder groups simultaneously.

  • Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency.

  • Ability to analyze operational metrics and leverage data-driven insights to make informed recommendations and drive continuous improvement.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Experience working within regulated environments and partnering with Risk, Controls, Compliance, Audit, or Governance organizations.

  • Experience leveraging automation, workflow optimization, AI-enabled solutions, or emerging technologies to improve operational effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications and/or advanced knowledge of SFMC architecture, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, AMPscript, and deployment processes.

  • Experience supporting marketing transformation initiatives such as self-service marketing, insourcing programs, platform migrations, or operating model redesign.

  • Experience implementing governance frameworks for AI-assisted workflows, operational automation, or marketing technology platforms.

  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and experience leading transformation initiatives within Agile environments.

  • Ability to create comprehensive technical, operational, and governance documentation, including process maps, standards, training materials, and operating procedures.
