Customer Property Management Specialist | Make an Impact in Aerospace Compliance

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Pay Rate: $27.01/hour

Job Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday through Friday | Normal Office Hours

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Customer Property Management Specialist to support our partnership with a leader in the aviation and aerospace industry in Cedar Rapids, Iowa .

In this role, you'll help ensure customer and government property is managed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Supporting multiple programs, you'll collaborate with property management teams, government and prime customers, auditing agencies, site leadership, and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Do

As part of the Customer Property Team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulations, and applicable company and site policies for managing customer property

  • Interpret and apply established property management requirements, procedures, and processes

  • Partner with site leadership and functional teams to maintain compliance with established processes

  • Generate accurate and timely property status reports, metrics, and supporting documentation

  • Provide property information to management as well as internal and external customers

  • Perform property closeout activities as required

  • Partner with the Contract Management organization to ensure property-related contractual requirements are properly executed

  • Work closely with the central property organization, government customers, prime customers, auditing agencies, and internal stakeholders

  • Review and analyze data to identify process disconnects, discrepancies, or potential system errors

  • Support improvements to property management procedures and processes

  • Comply with applicable Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies, regulatory requirements, and company practices

  • Follow applicable Global Trade Compliance (GTC) policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

We're seeking candidates who demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of customer property management principles and processes

  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements , with the ability to read, interpret, and apply regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office , including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to thoroughly review data for discrepancies or potential system errors

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and help drive positive change

  • Ability to work autonomously with limited managerial oversight

  • Ability to communicate professionally with individuals both inside and outside the organization, including customers and other external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates will also bring:

  • Previous experience with customer or government property management

  • Experience supporting property requirements in an aerospace, defense, government contracting, or similarly regulated environment

  • Familiarity with property closeout and compliance activities

  • Experience working with government customers, prime contractors, or auditing agencies

  • Experience developing and analyzing property reports and performance metrics

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple programs and functional organizations

Pay Details: $27.01 per hour
