Job Description
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager to lead our Nutrition team at Scottish Rite. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian with at least five years of clinical experience who is ready to expand their impact beyond individual patients and help shape care at a systems level.

You will join a highly engaged, collaborative, and supportive leadership team. Previous formal leadership experience is not required—just a strong clinical foundation, a passion for improvement, and the drive to lead.
Provides necessary leadership for growth and development of Clinical Nutrition Services. Acts as liaison between clinical nutrition staff, Pharmacy as well as other medical, clinical, and service-oriented departments.
Experience
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pediatric nutrition
- Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of current trends in performance improvement, revenue enhancement, computerization trends, and Joint Commission requirements
Education
- Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
Certification Summary
- Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Georgia licensed dietitian
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Job Responsibilities
- Leads development and operations of Clinical Nutrition Services by managing resources and monitoring achievement of clinical nutrition care standards.
- Supervises all aspects of clinical nutrition formula room, including evaluation of processes that support increased quality, decreased cost, and improved service.
- Facilitates staff meetings, completes evaluations, hires/recruits, and delegates clinical nutrition responsibilities as needed.
- Assists in development and achievement of budgeted targets for all areas of responsibility.
- Oversees departmental orientation, training, and competency.
- Coordinates development and revision of appropriate manuals and policies and procedures and maintains appropriate clinical functions to meet patient needs and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Participates actively on various hospital committees.
- Performs as dietitian in selected clinical areas.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
- Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading a team including interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, recognizing, and rewarding employees.

- Encourage ongoing skill development by providing opportunities for continued education.
