Service Technical Support 37666018 * Hourly pay: $27/hr * Worksite: Leading electronics testing company (Roseville, CA 95747 - Onsite) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Service Technical Support to perform testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of precision electronic test equipment. Service Technical Support Responsibilities: * Perform functional testing, calibration, troubleshooting, assembly, disassembly, adjustments, and basic repairs on electronic instrumentation, diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure equipment meets established specifications and performance standards. * Work on customer service assignments, solving technical problems and escalating more difficult repairs to experienced technicians. * Maintain detailed documentation of service activities and adhere to established production processes to achieve team and service center goals, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, ESD, connector care, ETE, and Service Note requirements to minimize re-repair. Service Technical Support Qualifications: * 3+ years of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment. * Specialized training/certification, or military experience. * Relevant technical degree or certification in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred. * Hands-on experience in electronic testing, calibration, and repair. * Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. * Demonstrated electronic and mechanical competence. * Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics. * Experience working with high voltage and current instruments is preferred. * Experience using automated calibration software platforms such as STE, PC-Based, METCAL, or TME is preferred. * PMEL experience is preferred. * Familiarity with a wide range of test and measurement equipment is preferred. Shift: * Swing: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. (H)
