Join Siemens Energy’s digital manufacturing transformation by enabling engineer-to-order and project-based manufacturing through SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and embedded PP/DS. Working across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Digital Manufacturing teams, you will establish scalable planning processes that support production readiness, effective capacity utilization, and successful customer project delivery in a greenfield transformer manufacturing environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Lead the deployment and adoption of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning processes for engineer-to-order and project-based manufacturing.

Design and standardize planning processes spanning SAP PS/WBS-driven demand, MRP, embedded PP/DS, capacity planning, production orders, and manufacturing master data.

Translate operational requirements into scalable SAP solutions aligned with global templates and cross-functional business needs.

Ensure effective integration between SAP Production Planning and related business processes, including project-based manufacturing, supply chain, quality, maintenance, finance, and manufacturing execution systems.

Provide functional leadership through testing, deployment, user adoption, go-live, and stabilization.
What You Bring
-
7+ years of SAP Production Planning experience in manufacturing environments. Those with more or less experience may be considered at a higher or lower level.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and directly relevant experience will be considered.

Hands-on experience supporting engineer-to-order, project-based, or complex discrete manufacturing through SAP S/4HANA.

Strong knowledge of MRP, embedded PP/DS, capacity planning, production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, and manufacturing master data.

Experience with SAP Production Planning and project-based manufacturing, including integration with SAP Project Systems (PS) and collaboration across related functions such as MM, QM, PM, EWM/WM, Finance, and manufacturing execution systems.

Experience supporting an SAP transformation, S/4HANA implementation, or greenfield manufacturing deployment.

Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Experience in industrial, heavy manufacturing, capital equipment, transformer, or other complex engineered-product environments is preferred.
