About the role and team
We are looking for a Creative Director, Scaled Studio to lead the creative team responsible for developing and scaling high-quality brand and marketing work across markets, channels, and business priorities.
This role will oversee a team of copywriters and designers and will play a critical role in how we scale creative production globally. The team will set the creative direction, scale existing concepts and design systems, and partner closely with offshore and external production resources to deliver a high volume of work efficiently without compromising quality or brand consistency.
This is a hands-on creative leadership role for someone who understands both great creative work and how to operationalize it at scale . You will be responsible for raising the creative bar, building repeatable frameworks, coaching internal creative talent, and ensuring distributed production teams can execute with clarity, speed, and precision.
You will work closely with Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, Brand Operations, Production, and regional marketing teams.
What you’ll do
Lead the creative team
-
Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of copywriters and designers.
-
Set a clear creative vision and quality bar for the Scaled Studio.
-
Create an environment where creative teams can move quickly while maintaining strong craft and brand standards.
-
Provide clear, actionable creative direction and feedback across a broad range of work, with a primary focus on owned channels.
-
Build the capabilities of the team over time, including identifying skills gaps and future talent needs.
Set creative direction for scaled work
-
Translate business, brand, and marketing strategy into clear creative direction for high-volume, multi-market execution.
-
Lead the development of creative concepts, campaign extensions, toolkits, templates, modular systems, and channel-specific assets.
-
Determine where work requires original creative thinking versus where existing systems and assets can be intelligently adapted.
-
Ensure work is culturally relevant, channel appropriate, and consistent with the brand.
-
Partner with senior creative leadership on how flagship creative ideas are translated into scalable systems.
Lead offshore and distributed creative delivery
-
Establish the creative model for working with offshore and external production partners.
-
Ensure offshore teams receive strong briefs, clear creative direction, templates, guardrails, and reference materials.
-
Review and guide work produced by offshore resources, focusing internal creative time on the decisions that most influence quality.
-
Build workflows that enable offshore teams to operate with increasing autonomy while maintaining the creative bar.
-
Identify recurring execution issues and turn them into better systems, guidance, and training.
Build scalable creative systems
-
Develop repeatable creative frameworks that allow the organization to produce more work without recreating solutions from scratch.
-
Build and evolve templates, design systems, copy frameworks, playbooks, and modular asset structures.
-
Partner with Brand Design and Brand Strategy teams to ensure scaled creative remains consistent with the broader brand system.
-
Identify opportunities to use automation, AI, and emerging creative technologies to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.
-
Help establish clear quality tiers and review models so the right level of creative attention is applied to different types of work.
Partner across the organization
-
Partner closely with Brand Operations to manage intake, prioritization, resourcing, timelines, and workflow.
-
Work with Product Marketing and regional marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into strong creative solutions.
-
Collaborate with producers and program managers to ensure work is scoped realistically and delivered efficiently.
-
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and help teams navigate trade-offs between speed, scale, cost, and creative ambition.
-
Represent the Scaled Studio in creative reviews and cross-functional conversations.
