Value Stream Technician 1. Location: Blairsville, PA 2. Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour 3. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM A Blairsville-area metal fabrication company is seeking a skilled Value Stream Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can perform multiple skilled manufacturing tasks, troubleshoot problems, support coworkers, and lead by example. What You'll Do 1. Perform skilled production and fabrication work across multiple areas. 2. Support the Value Stream by assisting coworkers and improving productivity. 3. Serve as an information resource and help troubleshoot production issues. 4. Work safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. 5. Lead by example and contribute to a positive team environment. Candidates must be proficient in at least 4 of the following 6 skills: 1. Welding 2. Grinding 3. Metal Fabrication 4. Brake Operation 5. Cutting 6. Mechanical Assembly Qualifications 1. 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination 2. Ability to read and understand industrial/welding blueprints 3. Blueprint assessment test required 4. Knowledge of various types of metal 5. High school diploma or GED 6. Reliable transportation 7. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift 8. Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
