Full job description

Skyflow secures the flow of data across datastores, models, and agents. Enterprises turn to Skyflow as their runtime AI data control layer to protect sensitive data, enable safe AI deployment, and unlock full value from their applications, data platforms, and AI systems.

Skyflow is trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises, and leading SaaS companies in financial services, healthcare, retail, travel and hospitality.

Skyflow is headquartered in Palo Alto, California and was founded in 2019. For more information, visit www.skyflow.com or follow on X and LinkedIn.

About the role:

As a Customer Programs Manager, you are responsible for orchestrating the implementation of Skyflow’s most important Customers. You will manage the end-to-end delivery from contract signing through successful Go-Live, acting as the main point of contact for customers.

This goes beyond standard implementations; you will steward bespoke implementations with Product Managers and Solutions Architects and manage relationships with strategic enterprise Customers. We enable Customers in their journey of protecting and governing sensitive data by demonstrating and validating how the Skyflow Privacy Vault and Privacy API uniquely enable agility while ensuring trust and compliance.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, can manage competing priorities, understands data architecture, and can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. If you love continuous improvement, are inspired by the challenges of customer implementations, and want to work in a fast-paced environment that will pave the way for the future, then we invite you to learn more about Skyflow and the implementation team!

You Have

  • 15+ years of technical experience working with SaaS platforms, data infrastructure, software engineering, technical consulting, or related domains, including 7+ years in customer-facing roles.

  • A hands-on background in Product, Business Analysis, Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a related field, with demonstrated experience solving technical problems and driving implementation outcomes.

  • Strong technical acumen, including the ability to run and troubleshoot data pipelines, interact with APIs, interpret API responses, and read and analyze customer datasets.

  • Experience with API-centric development and integrations, including client-side and server-side SDKs, and working knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and/or Microsoft Azure.

  • A solid understanding of data architecture, data flows, system integrations, and technical implementation approaches. Experience with large-scale data migrations, particularly terabyte-scale datasets, is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with data privacy, sensitive data protection, AI data sanitization, and privacy-by-design architectural approaches is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience independently managing complex customer implementations or technical programs, navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and driving successful outcomes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to quickly gather missing information, identify technical gaps, and develop practical solutions.

  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to understand end-user challenges, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and push back constructively when required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage difficult conversations, and align teams without direct authority.

  • A strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, adaptability, and a passion for customer success and continuous improvement.

You Will

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of strategic customer programs, from contract signing through implementation, integration, validation, and successful go-live, serving as the primary point of contact for customers.

  • Lead complex enterprise implementations, independently navigating ambiguous situations, resolving challenges, and ensuring customer programs progress against agreed timelines and objectives.

  • Work hands-on with customer technical teams to understand data architectures, analyze datasets, run and troubleshoot pipelines, interact with APIs, validate data flows, and resolve integration issues.

  • Partner with customers to identify implementation gaps, gather missing technical requirements, assess constraints, and develop practical solutions. Coordinate large-scale data migrations and AI data sanitization use cases where applicable.

  • Build a deep understanding of Skyflow's Privacy Vault, Privacy APIs, SDKs, and integration capabilities to guide customers in designing secure, scalable, privacy-first data architectures.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architects, and other teams to deliver bespoke customer solutions, manage dependencies, and resolve technical blockers.

  • Establish program goals, milestones, operating models, communication plans, success criteria, and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring clear accountability and visibility for all stakeholders.

  • Manage customer expectations proactively, communicate risks and trade-offs transparently, and confidently challenge assumptions or commitments when necessary to protect successful delivery.

  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, understand their business objectives and end-user challenges, and translate those needs into actionable technical implementation plans.

  • Drive continuous improvement across implementation processes, identifying recurring challenges, improving delivery practices, and incorporating customer feedback to help scale successful implementations.

  • Communicate program progress, risks, issues, mitigation plans, and outcomes to customer stakeholders and internal leadership while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a cohesive program team.

  • Travel to customer sites as needed to support implementation workshops, critical milestones, and strategic customer engagements.

Benefits

  • Work-from-home expense support in the US, Canada, and Australia.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance options, varying by country.

  • Vanguard 401(k).

  • Flexible paid time off (unlimited).

  • Generous equity.
