About the Role: As the Associate Chief Medical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our healthcare-focused AI products. Reporting directly to our Chief Medical Officer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and go-to-market, to ensure our products align with clinical needs, regulatory standards, and safety protocols. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in product development to combine their clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology in an onsite, fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide clinical expertise to inform the design, development, and iteration of AI-driven healthcare products.

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements, features, and roadmaps.

Serve as a clinical subject matter expert in client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations of AI products.

Travel to customer sites to provide clinical support, gather user feedback, and ensure successful product adoption.

Ensure all products meet high safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Validate the clinical relevance, accuracy, and usability of AI models and tools.

Partner with internal teams to align product development with market needs and customer feedback.

Work closely with the GTM team to translate clinical insights into impactful product solutions.

Act as a clinical leader and mentor for internal teams, providing insights on medical trends, technologies, and challenges.

Advocate for evidence-based approaches and patient-centered care throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications Must Haves:

MD or DO degree with active, unrestricted medical licensure.

5+ years of experience in clinical practice.

Demonstrated experience in healthcare product development (e.g., digital health, medical devices, or AI applications).

Proven ability to translate clinical needs into product specifications.

Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and FDA guidelines.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

East Coast–based candidates are preferred. This role requires approximately 20% to 40% travel.
