Day-to-Day:

  • Provide on-call and on-site technical support for executive communications systems, services, and networks
  • Monitor network connectivity and system performance to proactively identify outages, incidents, or degradations
  • Commission newly integrated AV rooms and verify all systems are fully operational
  • Connect, configure, test, validate, and document integrated AV and communications equipment
  • Install, load, unload, and maintain communications equipment on mobile kits, vehicles, and deployable assets
  • Configure laptop load sets, software images, and custom user profiles
  • Troubleshoot AV, network, and communications infrastructure issues
  • Train end users and stakeholders on newly deployed AV and communications systems
  • Support communications system design, implementation, and deployment planning
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for communications equipment and spare assets
  • Assist with lifecycle replacement planning, procurement activities, and sustainment efforts
  • Support COOP communications capabilities and mission-critical operations Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Senior Executive Communications / AV Commissioning Specialist to support mission-critical communications and audiovisual technologies for a highly visible enterprise environment. This individual will provide hands-on support for deployable communications systems, executive communications platforms, and newly integrated AV spaces. Responsibilities include commissioning and validating AV systems, troubleshooting network and communications issues, configuring end-user hardware and software, training customers on system functionality, and maintaining inventory and lifecycle management documentation. The ideal candidate combines strong AV integration expertise, networking fundamentals, customer-facing communication skills, and experience supporting high-availability communication environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a cleared technical professional who enjoys working with cutting-edge communications technology while supporting mission-essential operations.

Skills and Requirements

  • Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility

  • CompTIA Security+ (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience

  • OR HS/GED with 10+ years relevant experience

  • OR Associate's degree with 9+ years relevant experience

  • OR Master's degree with 3+ years relevant experience

  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting Crestron, Biamp, and/or AMX systems

  • Light networking experience

  • Experience supporting mobile, deployable, or enterprise communications systems

  • Strong customer-facing and end-user training experience

  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining communication equipment, laptops, and user profiles

  • Inventory management and documentation experience Plusses:

  • CTS Certification

  • Crestron Programming Certification

  • Experience with light programming in Crestron or AMX environments

  • Experience supporting Continuity of Operations (COOP) communications environments

  • Experience with procurement, lifecycle replacement planning, and sustainment of communications systems Experience supporting deployable or airborne communications assets
