Full job description

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Administrator to support residential property operations in Hawaii. This contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing tenant-facing service with administrative coordination in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on maintaining accurate records, preparing business documents, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day property management activities. Candidates who communicate clearly and work comfortably with property management systems and office software will be well suited for this opportunity. Due to the nature of the work and onsite requirements, preference will be given to Hawaii residents. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or reside within the region to meet business needs. Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive day-to-day support to residents by addressing questions, concerns, and routine requests in a thorough and attentive manner.

  • Enter, update, and maintain property, resident, and leasing information with a high degree of accuracy across administrative records and systems.

  • Evaluate rental applications by gathering required documentation, checking for completeness, and routing files for the next stage of review.

  • Draft letters, notices, and other written communications while also preparing recurring and ad hoc reports for property operations.

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings by organizing materials, tracking discussion points, and following up on action items.

  • Support residential property management activities by assisting with leasing administration and general office coordination.

  • Use property management platforms such as Yardi, along with standard office tools, to organize information and support daily workflow.

Requirements • At least 2 years of recent experience in residential property management or a closely related administrative role.

  • Practical knowledge of property management processes, including tenant support and application handling.

  • Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to create documents, manage spreadsheets, and prepare reports.

  • Experience using Yardi software or another comparable property management system.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal interactions.

  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
