  • Assist with branch-level accounting support, including expense allocations, profitability reporting, and commission reconciliation in collaboration with payroll and HR teams.

  • Prepare documentation and schedules for audits, lender reviews, regulatory examinations, and year-end reporting requirements such as 1099 and 1098 support.

  • Contribute to process improvements by helping streamline manual tasks, documenting recurring procedures, and supporting chart of accounts cleanup or related system refinement efforts.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience demonstrating solid accounting knowledge.

  • At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years within the mortgage industry.

  • Practical experience supporting month-end close, preparing journal entries, and completing balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Working knowledge of warehouse line accounting and familiarity with loan funding and loan sale transactions.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, whether Online or Desktop, along with strong Excel capabilities including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliation work.
