Field Engineers / Pascagoula, MS

ATSS has a client in Pascagoula, MS looking for Field Engineers GENERAL FUNCTIONS --- Provides technical support to yards in production functions related to engineering. Acts as liaison between engineering project teams and production. --- **TYPICAL FUNCTIONS: ** The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. --- - Works with project teams to provide technical support and assistance to yards in interpreting engineering drawings. {=html} - Provides yards and Engineering with sketches as needed. Provides feedback on design productivity to Engineering Design team. {=html} - Works with yard and Engineering to support regulatory and class issues. {=html} - Coordinates changes and revisions through Project Engineer. {=html} - Coordinates as-builds. {=html} - Provides and coordinates yard-engineering support and assists Tests & Trials with technical issues as necessary. {=html} - Accomplishes tasks and assignments proficiently and with minimal supervision. --- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES --- Knowledge of shipbuilding, engineering and production functions and processes. Strong technical skills and proficiency in use of AutoCAD and MS Office software. Good communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Must work well in a team environment. --- DESIRABLE EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING --- Bachelor's of Science degree in technical field or equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Field Engineer Lead/Supervisor: Five (5) years plus experience Field Engineer: Two to Three (2-3) years experience
