Location: UCHealth CeDAR, CO,Aurora
Department: CeDAR Residential Care
Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Evenings
Pay: $24.11 - $36.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
Supervises daily staff activities related to milieu management by creating a safe environment for patients. Supports and trains therapeutic interventions to bring consistency and structure for therapeutic environments.
Responsibilities:

Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.

Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Ensures patient specific interventions and schedules are followed. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

Assists with the creation of new individual support plans (ISP's) for patient safety. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in psychology, behavioral health, social services or related field.

Preferred: Advanced Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor certification by the Crisis Prevention Institute

3 years Behavioral Health experience. Preferred: Milieu Management experience.
