Overview
The College of Veterinary Medicine is hiring for a TES Necropsy Diagnostic Lab Suppor t.
This role supports pathologists with large and small animal necropsies: assist with dissection and sample collection, fill forms, operate still and video cameras.
Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time

Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads

Assistance with special projects

Responsibilities

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Maintain safe and clean work environment.

File and catalog specimens.
-
Follow recipes to make laboratory solutions.

Regularly involves lifting, bending or other physical exertion.

Often exposed to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc.
Qualifications
-
Able to perform strenuous physical work.

Able to work some weekends and holidays.
-
Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Must be up to date on Tetanus vaccination and willing to receive Rabies vaccine series.
