Position Description
Harvard Kennedy School seeks an applied microeconomist of the highest distinction to appoint as a tenured professor of public policy. The successful candidate will be a scholar whose research and teaching focus on the economics of social policy, including but not limited to labor markets, social insurance, transfer programs, poverty, immigration, education and criminal justice. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in applying their research to the practice of public policy. Requirements include a doctorate in economics and a strong capacity to integrate methods and insights across disciplinary boundaries.
