Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/HR
Schedule: Monday - Friday/ 8-5am EDT
Applicants must be current residents of Indianaand able to work onsite as required for this hybrid position.
As a Change Order Representative, you are responsible for reviewing and processing changes to existing patient orders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely shipment of medical supplies. This role focuses on prescription review, insurance and authorization validation, documentation accuracy, and coordination with internal teams to prevent delays in patient care. This is a remote, detail-driven role requiring strong organizational skills and healthcare administrative experience.

What You'll Do:
-
Review and process changes to existing patient orders
-
Validate prescription accuracy and determine when updated documentation is required
-
Verify insurance coverage and submit or follow up on authorizations
-
Calculate and verify enteral formula requirements
-
Navigate insurance and payer portals
-
Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation
-
Communicate with patients and internal teams as needed to resolve order issues

Onsite Operational Support:
In addition to primary job duties, this role supports branch operations and compliance by:

Maintaining an organized office environment
-
Monitoring enteral formula storage temperatures per safety standards
-
Conducting routine safety checks (including fire extinguisher inspections)
-
Managing inventory of supplies and equipment
-
Maintaining clean and dirty equipment areas per health protocols
-
Assisting customers, vendors, and surveyors during visits
Position Qualifications:
-
2+ years of healthcare administrative, order processing, or insurance experience
-
Home health, DME, or enteral experience preferred
-
Insurance authorization knowledge a plus
-
High school diploma or GED required
