Job Description:
Summary
Must reside within a commutable distance to both Brea, CA and Irvine, CA, as the office location will be relocated from Brea to Irvine in approximately Q1 2028. This is not a hybrid or remote opportunity and requires onsite presence 4 days per week.
The Ormco Senior Product and Portfolio Manager is accountable for the strategy, development, launch, and lifecycle performance of assigned categories across Ormco’s orthodontic solutions portfolio, which may include fixed appliances, hybrid treatment solutions, and clear aligners. Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, this senior individual contributor combines portfolio, product management, and commercial expertise to drive innovation, optimize the portfolio, strengthen customer adoption, and improve revenue, profitability, and NPVI. The role converts market, clinical, and customer insights into prioritized solutions and influences functions and regions to deliver successful commercialization. Portfolio assignment will reflect business needs and the selected candidate’s experience and may support Ormco’s Core and Hybrid solutions or the Spark clear aligner portfolio.
Responsibilities

Partner with the Business Unit Leader to set portfolio priorities, investment recommendations, and strategic growth initiatives.

Own the global product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle plan for an assigned category or platform, including portfolio rationalization and phase-in/phase-out decisions aligned with commercial and financial goals.

Synthesize market trends, competitive intelligence, VoC research, and regional needs into prioritized product, clinical workflow, and customer-experience requirements.

Develop data-driven business cases and recommendations that define customer value, investment requirements, expected returns, and measures of success.

Lead product development from concept through commercialization, coordinating R&D, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Finance, Commercial, Global Marketing, software, digital product, and user-experience partners as applicable.

Engage clinicians and key opinion leaders to incorporate clinical evidence, treatment workflows, and customer insights into product and portfolio decisions.

Define differentiated value propositions, segmentation, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment between product roadmaps and commercial execution.

Support sales training and regional campaigns as the portfolio subject-matter expert, maintaining continuity between the product value proposition and market execution.

Build launch forecasts, adjust demand plans to minimize back orders, and monitor revenue, profitability, adoption, retention, forecast accuracy, launch performance, and NPVI.

Present portfolio reviews, roadmap recommendations, business cases, risks, and performance updates to the Business Unit Leader and senior stakeholders, driving decisions through clear analysis and influence.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
-
5+ years of global product management experience, preferably in medical devices, dental, orthodontics, healthcare technology, or another regulated industry.
-
Demonstrated commercial experience, such as sales, sales leadership, or field commercial roles, with a record of translating product strategy into market results.
-
Proven ownership of a multi-product portfolio across strategy, prioritization, rationalization, launch, and lifecycle management.
-
Experience converting customer, market, financial, and product-performance insights into product requirements, commercial plans, and investment recommendations.
-
Ability to lead complex initiatives and align stakeholders across functions and regions without direct authority.
-
History of successful commercial launches, growth, forecast attainment, and measurable business outcomes.
-
Ability to travel domestically and internationally based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
-
Proven product development and launch experience in a regulated industry, preferably orthodontics, dental, or medical devices.

Experience with digital products, software-enabled solutions, treatment-planning workflows, or connected healthcare platforms.

Experience partnering with clinicians, key opinion leaders, or professional education teams, supported by knowledge of fixed appliance, clear aligner, hybrid treatment, and clinical workflows.

Experience with pricing strategy, global market research, and VoC programs in support of portfolio decisions.

Strong strategic and analytical judgment, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Experience operating effectively in a global matrix organization and managing stakeholders across regions and functions.

MBA or advanced degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline.

Target Market Salary Range:
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
For Field Sales roles, the salary range listed reflects base pay only and does not include incentive pay opportunities under the applicable sales compensation plan
