Overview

The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third party software, and custom applications. OTS leads the State's technology procurement process in order to standardize technology over the entire organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the OTS suite of services which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies. The hours on this task order are capped at 2080 for the term. The State intends to secure temporary IT personnel on a part-time basis for job title(s) listed below:

Scope of Work

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

• Creation of project documentation

• Process monitoring

• Conduct cost/benefit analysis

• Documentation of specifications and requirements tracking

• Provide day-to-day support for on-going processes

• Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for processes; work in needed areas to provide support services for agency's workload demands

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project documentation, specifications, requirements, and process documentation.

• Monitor existing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

• Conduct cost/benefit analyses and support cost-management initiatives.

• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support for ongoing business processes.

• Create, maintain, and manage Trimble Unity Construct/eBuilder user accounts, including permissions and account maintenance.

• Provide general user support and troubleshooting for the Trimble platform.

• Perform project administration within Trimble Unity Construct/eBuilder.

• Develop and maintain training materials and deliver:

• New-user/basic training

• Workflow training

• System administration training

• Training for new features and redesigned processes

• Facilitate requirements-gathering and design sessions for new process rollouts.

• Recommend and implement best practices for leveraging Trimble Unity Construct.

• Lead process and workflow testing before new processes are implemented.

• Evaluate and improve the use of cost management functionality within the Trimble platform.

• Provide reporting support, including:

• Report creation

• Report cleanup

• Report subscriptions

• Dashboard creation and maintenance

• Support OTS and agency workload demands by providing assistance in areas requiring additional process or project support.

Mandatory Experience

The candidate should have:

• 5+ years of experience with Trimble Unity Construct (formerly eBuilder).

• Experience with user administration and permissions.

• Experience providing end-user support.

• Experience with project administration.

• Experience developing training documentation and delivering system training.

• Experience with workflow/process design, requirements documentation, and testing.

• Experience with cost management within Trimble Unity Construct/eBuilder.

• Experience creating and maintaining reports, subscriptions, and dashboards.
