Full job description
The City of Ogdensburg has openings for a POLICE MATRON position at the Ogdensburg Police Department. This is a part-time, call-in position. The salary is $25.00/hr., with a minimum 2 hour guarantee. Duties involve the performance of general security and escort duties, and assists with booking of female prisoners. Due to irregular times when female prisoners are in custody, security and escort duties are typically performed on an irregular basis. Minimum qualifications: Graduation from high school or the possession of a high school equivalency diploma. Interested candidates must complete a Civil Service application (available at City Clerks Office or www.ogdensburg.org).
