About the Team Being a Senior Product Engineer at FINNY means owning meaningful product surfaces end-to-end, from idea to production. This role sits at the intersection of product, backend systems, and user experience. You’ll lead the development of features that directly impact customers, while working closely with backend, data, and frontend specialists to ship high-quality products quickly. You’ll be responsible not just for how things are built, but what gets built and why. What You’ll Do Own product development end-to-end

• Take ownership of features or product areas on a 3–6 week cadence, from concept through rollout
• Translate product goals into concrete engineering plans and execution

Partner deeply with Product & Design

• Collaborate with Product on ideation, scoping, and prioritization
• Help turn ambiguous product ideas into clear technical requirements

Build across the stack

• Lead development across backend and frontend, with support from domain specialists

What We’re Looking For You’re a product-minded engineer

• You frame engineering work in terms of user value and business impact
• You care deeply about what you’re building, not just how
• You enjoy owning a problem end-to-end and seeing it through to customers

You’re technically strong

• 5+ years of experience building full-stack systems
• Experience working with data-heavy systems and production infrastructure
• Familiar with modern product stacks and tooling

Your working style

• You move fast, iterate, and aren’t afraid of ambiguity
• You communicate clearly and make tradeoffs explicit
• You raise the bar for quality while shipping continuously
• You’re excited to work in-person, NYC (Chelsea), 5 days/week
