About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Tax & Integration Manager, the Tax & Integration Manager provides direct leadership to Office Leaders and associates while ensuring the successful execution of day-to-day operations, workflow management, and client service delivery. This role is responsible for leading teams to achieve operational excellence through effective management of work in progress, resource allocation, and process execution. The Manager serves as a key change leader, supporting the adoption of new systems, processes, and operating models while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Manager partners closely with office leadership, functional support teams, and regional stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of operational standards, effective workload balancing, and outstanding client outcomes. Through coaching, performance management, and ongoing development of associates and leaders, this role drives engagement, productivity, and business results across all supported locations.

lead and develop Office Leaders and associates across a portfolio of CPA offices, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.

drive the day-to-day client experience by ensuring consistent execution of service standards and timely resolution of client concerns.

manage work-in-progress activities, workload distribution, resource planning, and workflow prioritization to optimize productivity and client outcomes.

execute operational processes and business initiatives that support organizational goals and drive consistency across offices.

serve as a change leader by supporting the implementation of new systems, technology, policies, and operating models.

coach and develop leaders and associates through regular feedback, performance management, and career development planning.

ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards while maintaining operational discipline.
Required Qualifications

Proven ability to lead and develop leaders and associates across multiple locations or teams

Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance management capabilities

Experience managing through change and leading teams through periods of growth, transformation, or organizational change

Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results through others

Strong operational management and execution skills

Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills

Experience analyzing operational and client metrics to drive performance improvements

Proven ability to effectively lead and develop associates in both in-person and virtual work environments

Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and digital technologies to enhance productivity, improve decision-making, streamline processes, and support team effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading operational teams through organizational change, technology implementations, or business transformation efforts

Proven track record of fostering an innovative and technology-forward culture focused on continuous improvement

Tax Industry, Accounting, and/or technical-related certifications and/or experience.

5+ Years of relevant experience

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
Pay Range
$88,900.00 - $142,200.00/Yr.
