Full job description

Behavior Specialist - Assess, plan, and implement strategies to help individuals manage challenging behaviors and develop essential social, emotional, and life skills. {=html} - Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify what triggers and maintains unwanted actions, and then creating individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address them. {=html} - Work directly with clients to teach positive replacement behaviors and track progress through meticulous data collection. Beyond one-on-one intervention, collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and healthcare teams, training clients to apply supportive strategies consistently across school, home, and clinical settings. Instruct, or assist in instructing, patients and families in home programs, basic living skills, or the care and use of adaptive equipment.
