Technical Business Analyst- Veeva

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Technical BA to sit 3 days onsite in Sleepy Hollow, NY for a large pharmaceutical client. The Technical BA will support the Commercial Digital & Technology team by leading requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution delivery for CRM, reporting, compliance, and mobile technology initiatives. This role will play a key part in a multi-year CRM transformation as Veeva and Salesforce transition to separate CRM platforms. The client has selected Veeva Vault CRM as its future-state solution and will implement it through 2027-2028 while continuing to support Salesforce capabilities. The BA will work across both environments, serving as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements, supporting system design, integrations, testing, and deployment activities, and ensuring a seamless transition for the commercial organization. Pay is around 65-70/hr.

Skills and Requirements

-7-10+ years of Business Analyst experience within pharma/biotech, supporting commercial technology and CRM platforms. -Proven experience authoring BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and technical requirements documentation for enterprise applications. -Hands-on experience gathering and translating business requirements for Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault CRM, and Salesforce-based solutions. -Working knowledge of CRM architecture, system integrations, and related commercial technology platforms, including PromoMats, Informatica, Snowflake, and Tableau. -Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, data flows, and Master Data Management (MDM) concepts within CRM ecosystems. -Experience partnering with developers, architects, and technical delivery teams to support solution design, testing, release management, and deployment activities. -Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, documentation, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
