We teach live, small group video classes for elementary school children and for Mexican English teachers who want to improve their own accent. What You'll Do: ** ** - Lead live, one-hour video classes with small groups of 4-6 students. - Focus on pronunciation, accent, rhythm and intonation in American English. - Help learners master the sounds that are hardest for Spanish speakers (th, v vs b, short vowels, word endings). - Give each student individual feedback and encouragement. - Coach groups of elementary school children (ages 6-12) and groups of adult English teachers. What We're Looking For: - Must be at least 18 years old or older. - Must be a 'native speaker' of American English - Must convey patience, warmth and enthusiasm, especially when working with children. - Must be reliable, punctual, and professional. - Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required. - Spanish is a plus but not required. - Must pass a criminal background check, since you will be working with minors.
