Full job description

Job Duties

Lead hands-on after-school STEM classes for up to 16 students in grades K-4 at partner schools. Teach the engineering design process (Ask, Brainstorm, Design, Build, Test, Improve), guide kids through projects, and keep the class fun and on track. Includes arrival, setup, teaching, and cleanup. Class materials are provided in bins you pick up weekly from our New Hope office.

Minimum Education Required

Some college

Minimum Experience Required

Experience leading a group of kids (classroom, group tutoring, camp, or after-school). One-on-one tutoring or nannying alone doesn’t count. No engineering background needed.

$22.50 - $30.00 / Hourly

Additional Compensation

Flat rate of $45-$60 per class, paid per class taught, not by the hour. Covers arrival, teaching, and cleanup. Mileage reimbursed past 10 miles one way.
